Elections
About
One of the County Clerk’s most important responsibilities is the administration of elections. My staff and I work hard to make sure your voice is heard and your vote is counted. Our goal is to help facilitate the exercise of democracy. If you have questions, concerns or suggestions, we encourage you to contact us.
Albany County uses ES&S (Election Systems & Software) voting equipment to conduct our elections and have since 2005. ES&S offers the most secure, safe and accurate elections possible and our new equipment, purchased in 2020, is the most secure equipment ever utilized.
