About the County Clerk:
The County Clerk`s Office is mandated by the Wyoming State Legislature to provide a variety of services to the citizens of Albany County and the State of Wyoming.
County Clerks perform the following services:
- Clerk to the Board of Albany County Commissioners
- Chief Budget Officer (Budget & Audit )
- Chief Election Officer
- Issue Wyoming Titles for Motor Vehicles
- Record liens on motor vehicles following the Uniform Commercial Code
- Process and pay vendors who have provided goods and services to the county (Accounts Payable)
- Registrar of Deeds and Mortgages (Real Estate)
- Issue Wyoming Marriage Licenses and how to obtain other Vital Records
- Administer Liquor License and Temporary Merchant License application and records.
- Designted Public Records person for Albany County. All requests should be submitted on the Albany County Public Records Request Form and sent to the office.
The Albany County Clerk’s Office is open Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Our office does close on recognized County holidays. On election years we are closed for both the Primary and General Election days.
