Drug Testing Services

Albany County is seeking written proposals from drug testing providers in Laramie, Wyoming for the purpose of administering drug screening for Albany County Human Resources.

The Albany County Human Resources Office has a need for professional services for processing and reporting of urine test samples to measure pre-employment, post–accident, random samples for sworn personnel, reasonable suspicion and DOT requirements. Albany County has a current employee body of 135 employees and on average hires between five (5) and twenty-five employees a year. DOT and sworn personnel testing is done on a quarterly basis and all other testing makes up less than 10%.

The request for proposal describes the selection process and documentation required for submitting proposals for this project. Any organization failing to submit a proposal in accordance with the procedures set forth in this Request for Proposals may be considered non-responsive.

Proposing organizations may submit written questions seeking clarification on the RFP via Albany County Clerk, Jackie R. Gonzales, (525 Grand Ave. STE 202, Laramie, WY 82070, email: until October 23, 2018. The Grantor will consider no telephone inquiries regarding the Request for Proposal, and will consider no in-person inquiries. The Proposers shall not contact the Grantor directly. Any organization that attempts to contact the Grantor, any official, employee, or representative of the Selection Team in any manner contrary to the above requirements may be disqualified from further consideration.
