Public Notice


The County Commissioners of the County of Albany, Wyoming is seeking public input and public comments on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in the Albany County Commission Chambers, Albany County Courthouse, Room 103, 525 Grand Avenue, Laramie WY on the following Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications:

  • 9:30AM - Community Facilities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application.  Albany County is interested in obtaining public input and comments regarding the Hospice of Laramie Hospice House project before we officially close out the project with the Wyoming Business Council.  The amount awarded to Albany County allocated towards the Hospice of Laramie, Hospice House project through CDBG was $408,744.00.

CDBG projects are awarded based on their support of at least one of three National Objectives:

            1.  Benefit to low and moderate income persons.

            2.  Aid in the prevention or elimination of slums or blight.

3.  Activities designed to meet community development needs having a particular urgency.

All written comments must be received no later than 5:00PM on February 16, 2018.  The Albany County Commissioners will take all comments made at the public hearings and written comments submitted on or before the deadline into consideration before officially closing out this project with the Wyoming Business Council.
