Air Quality for Albany County

Albany County Emergency Management would like to advise citizens of air quality information for Albany County that is currently identified in the “unhealthly” rating by the EPA.

Currently the smoke from the wildfires in the North West are affecting our air quality.  It is advised by the EPA that if it looks smoky outside, you should limit your recreational activity such as running and children playing outside.  If you have an air conditioner keep the fresh air intake closed and filter clean to preventing bringing additional smoke inside.

For more information visit the EPA Website for current advisories and air quality levels.  Albany County Emergency Management can be contacted at 307-721-1815.
