The Planning and Zoning Commissioners are currently reviewing proposed revisions to the Albany County Zoning Resolution. The zoning resolution describes the land use regulations of the County and includes written standards and a zoning map. If adopted, these standards may affect a property’s future land use. The public is encouraged to review the zoning resolution, including the maps, and submit comments. The major changes to the zoning regulations include the addition of zoning districts consistent with the adopted comprehensive plan and the addition of an official zoning map. Comments should be provided to the Albany County Planning Office in written form (letter, email, fax).
