Multiple incidents of illegal Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) use on the Medicine Bow National Forest have resulted in citations being issued by U.S Forest Service Law Enforcement.
On Oct. 16, a Forest Service Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) worked cooperatively with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department to locate a group of hunters who drove OHVs to the top of Pennock Mountain to retrieve an elk. There are no legal roads in this area. All OHV operators were issued citations.
